Livestock and Equestrian Activities

Livestock and equestrian events are a big part of the Events Complex, with 5 arenas, numerous pens and outbuildings, its one of the largest such facilities in the region. Barrel racings, horse shows, team ropings and 4-H events are common activities at the Indoor Arena. We invite your comments on the activities and facilities as well as how we may improve our service.

BMX Racing

Each summer the Sweetwater Events Complex is home to numerous BMX races. Along with Events Complex personnel, a dedicated group of volunteers work hard to make sure the BMX program in Sweetwater County is a successful one. We'd like to hear your feedback about our BMX events and any suggestions or ideas you'd like to offer.

Stock Car Racing

Each summer, the Sweetwater Events Complex hosts roughly one dozen stock car races from May through August. Stock car racing continues to grow at the Complex both in terms of competitors and spectators and we'd like to hear your feedback and any suggestions or ideas you'd like to offer.

Moto-Cross Racing

Each summer the Sweetwater Events Complex is home to numerous Moto-Cross races. We'd like to hear your feedback about our moto-cross events and any suggestions or ideas you'd like to offer.

The Sweetwater Fair - Wyoming's Big Show

Each year the Sweetwater Events Complex hosts the communities flagship event, the Sweetwater Fair - Wyoming's Big Show. With a history dating back over 60 years, the Fair has long been a cornerstone in Sweetwater County. We invite you to share your thoughts on the fair and your memories of fairs gone by.
